    Jib Crane Operating Instructions

    Checks to be made before use;

    • Connections of the crane
    • Whether the ropes or chains are intact
    • Hook connection with rope or chain
    • Whether the rope sits on the drum bearings.

    Monitor the normal operation of the jib crane by idling;

    • Care should be taken that the crane hook is in the middle of the load to be lifted.
    • Do not load more than the crane capacity.
    • Care must be taken to ensure that the hook is well attached to the load to be lifted.
    • It should be checked whether the brakes hold by lifting the load 5-10 cm and waiting.
    • Harsh movements and maneuvers that will adversely affect the crane should not be made while lifting or lowering the load.
    • Never stand under a lifted or lowered load.
    • The lifted load should not be suspended for a long time.
    • In case of any malfunction of the crane, it should not continue to be used and the relevant people should be informed.
    • Periodic maintenance and control works must be carried out within the period.
    • Ensure that the rope is lubricated in dust-free environments.
    • The rope should never be handled with bare hands.
    • Others should not be allowed to enter the work areas.
    • Care should be taken that the person using the jib crane wears work shoes with steel toe caps and soles.
